Booking has now opened for ‘What’s The Big Idea’ two one-week philosophy camps for 9-12 year olds here at NUIG.

Two one-week philosophy summer camps for all thinkers aged 9-12. Delivered through the P4C (Philosophy for Children pedagogy) this week long camp will use activities and enquiries to find, ask and explore the ‘big ideas’ in our world through: art, sport, science, music and film.

Each day of the camp comprises themed workshops followed by philosophical enquiries facilitated by staff and PhD students from the NUIG Philosophy Department.

Galway P4C is organised through the Philosophy department at NUIG. Using the P4C pedagogy that is practised in 60 countries and has developed over 40 years, we work to make philosophy accessible, fun and engaging for everyone.

Once you’ve registered your child’s place via eventbrite, please complete the registration form which you will receive via email, within 7 days.
