Galway P4C is co-ordinated by staff and post- graduate students from the Philosophy department at National University of Ireland, Galway. We work with schools, community groups and organisations that want to think more deeply and effectively, together. Using with the P4C (Philosophy for Children) pedagogy; we develop specialist resources to develop and stimulate philosophical enquiry with each group we work with.

Galway P4C is partners with arts, cultural and scientific organisations to build meaningful engagement with their work through philosophical enquiry. We have conceived staffed and delivered Ireland’s first Philosophy for Children Summer Camp, developed a series of enquiries with young philosophers at first, second and third level and worked with TULCA 17 ‘They Call us the Screamers’ to coordinate philosophical enquiry around the themes and issues emergent in contemporary visual art.
